
Katharine Mahon is a postdoctoral teaching scholar in the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. She earned her PhD in Theology at Notre Dame in 2016, her Master of Theological Studies from Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry in 2010, and her B.A. in History from Augsburg College in 2006. Her specialization is in Liturgical Studies and her research focuses on the relationship between sacramental theology, liturgical participation, and the religious formation of laypeople throughout history. In her spare time Kate enjoys baking, breweries, science fiction, and trying to relate everything in life to episodes of The Simpsons.
