Benjamin Durheim, Ph.D. is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theology at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University in Minnesota. He is twice a Johnnie (for his B.A. and M.A.), and received his Ph.D. from Boston College, writing on sacraments and ethics in Martin Luther and Louis-Marie Chauvet. His research interests include liturgy and justice, ecumenism, and theological anthropology. His book,
Christ’s Gift, Our Response, appeared from Liturgical Press in 2015. A native Minnesota Lutheran, when Ben isn’t teaching or writing he enjoys fishing, woodworking, and discussing theology over some freshly made lefse.
